The Senior Boys volleyball team continues to impress York Mills once again by qualifying for OFSAA for the 3rd year in a row. It has been an exciting November with soccer intramurals at lunch. Students gathered in the double gym to watch and cheer for the teams as they watched to see which team was going to be the champion. It started with six teams: Barely Legal, Joonho’s Jetta, Trainrunners, Team Saleh, Bench Mob, and Asian Invasion. One by one, each team was eliminated until the finals on November 29th. Joonho’s Jetta reigned victorious after a hard-fought game against Team Saleh.

One of the players from Team Saleh was available to share some insight on the games and answered a few questions:

Q: Why do you like soccer intramurals?

A: Soccer intramurals gives me a chance to play soccer with different people and it helps me improve my skills without all the pressure I would have during the regular season soccer.

Q: What would you say is your favourite memory from soccer intramurals?

A: Rod doing the ZEZE dance during a game.
