New way of celebrating Halloween at York Mills with the BOH class and DD program

“What’s a mummy’s favourite genre of music? Wrap music !” 

Every year, as the school starts up again, students have one thing they can consistently rely on to provide them with a brief moment of respite, Halloween. At York Mills, we offer an array of Halloween-related activities. The past years have seen StuCo host a costume contest, in addition to a haunted house presented by the Music Council. This year, the grade 12 Business Management Class collaborated with the DD program to create two brand new events.

Law Council’s Student Employment Kahoot Game

Many of us students at York Mills either have jobs or have considered applying for jobs to gain further work experience and to earn money. But, do we know our rights as student-employees? To test students on their legal knowledge and to educate them about the laws on student employment, the Law Council hosted their first Kahoot game on Friday October 25th in Titan Hall.
