Stress can be the downfall of many students in high school. A way to relieve the stress is to do Zumba! The BOH class recognized this and decided to create an event during their Mental Health Week just for this. The event ran on Thursday, all through lunch and students were able to drop in whenever they had time. There was loud music and darkness so that students would be able to focus on the Zumba moves and not their surroundings. The BOH class had YouTube videos and Zumba classes and everyone was following along. It worked-up quite a sweat for many people as Zumba is a fast-paced exercise that incorporates dance moves. It gives people a good workout and a place to feel relaxed. It has become a popular way for people to work out and relax as popular upbeat music is always being played and the steps are normally quite simple and easy to follow.
