Swimmer’s Morning Routines

Waking up at six a.m. almost every morning is tough, especially if you know that you have to jump into a freezing cold pool and complete an arduous set. Some people may wonder, “How do you even have time to eat breakfast?” but the truth is, some people might not even have that privilege. I decided to interview some swimmers of the York Mills Swim Team to see what their morning routines looked like.

Eco-Council hosted a Kahoot game with over 85 students

Reduce, reuse, recycle; the three R’s almost everyone has heard of. However, do people really know in which bin their waste goes in? The blue, green, or grey? On Monday November 20th, Eco-Council hosted an interactive Kahoot game, where they challenged students of their knowledge on the environment and getting rid of waste. The event took place at lunch in the cafeteria and around eighty five students showed up to play.
