This is Michelle Lin. She is in grade nine and a student at York Mills. Michelle is Taiwanese and speaks Mandarin and English. She moved to Canada just two years ago. She attended Windfields Middle School to improve her studies in English. Over the past few years, she has developed a passion for the arts, such as dancing, modeling, rapping, and singing. 

Michelle has started her career at a dance company named ‘JHHA (Jade Hip Hop academy)’; she spent one year there. At that company, she competed in three competitions and won first place in her age group. Michelle then recently joined the dance company ‘Soul Attention’ and just competed in her first competition with them. During the summer, Michelle attends Apple Studio in Taiwan. She also goes to the Toronto studio DancelifeX. She is also skilled in playing the violin, with nearly two years of experience. Michelle also had the amazing opportunity to model some article of clothing for the entertainment company, Kipop, in Taiwan. 

Michelle has a family of a mom and dad with three younger siblings. She looks up to many idols in hopes to be as professional as they are. In the future, Michelle would like to improve her skills in dancing, modeling, and singing. After finishing high school, Michelle would want to study media and technology. Her strongest subjects in school are math and gym. She does a terrific job of balancing a life of education and physical activities.
